Project Homecoming is a service provided by Meals on Wheels for anyone returning from the hospital, nursing home or rehab. Meals on Wheels will send you five meals free of charge, delivered to your home – no strings attached!
The service is provided when you or someone you care about is transitioning from a medical facility to home after the birth of a baby, an accident or after surgery or an illness.
Some people go home with new and unfamiliar dietary rules, which can cause anxiety and slow healing. Project Homecoming can accommodate many dietary needs, making your transition home easier for you and your family. Each meal is made with fresh ingredients and contains an entrée, vegetable, carbohydrate, salad and dessert.
This service is provided by all three Boulder County Meals on Wheels. The sign-up process is simple and meals are delivered right to your home – for free!
